• Come worship God at our weekly Sunday Worship Service.
• Pastor Daniel Park will be away preaching at a youth retreat, so please keep him in your prayers.
• We have the joy of having Pastor Steve Lutz return to preach at Harvest.  Pastor Steve was the speaker for Light of Life: Weekend of Worship, so this is a great opportunity for us to reconnect with him this weekend.

• Get ready for our annual HqO Family Group mini-olympics.
• It’s a chance for the family groups to bond through a day of friendly competition that will challenge body, mind, and spirit!
• Please come even if you are not in a family group.
• Pick-ups will be at 9:30AM @ Life Sciences Building. You can also meet us at Haymarket Park at 10AM if you have your own ride.
• Lunch will be provided.

Prayer Focus: Trapped Chilean Miners

Thirty-three Chilean miners were trapped more than 2300 ft underground after the collapse of a mine in Copiapo, Chile on August 5. The miners are 4.5 miles inside the winding mine inside a mine shaft shelter the size of a small apartment. The miners have been able to communicate with their families and rescue workers, but it could take up to 120 days for them to be rescued. Although serious mining accidents are rare in Chile, the government says the San Jose mine, owned by local private company Compania Minera San Esteban Primera, has suffered a series of mishaps and 16 workers were killed in recent years.Let us pray for a successful rescue effort.
Let us also pray for the families as they wait for the return f their loved ones. Let us pray so that the miners maintain good physical and mental health as they wait to be rescued.

Scripture Reference: Luke 10:25-37

The floods, which began in July 2010 as a result of heavy rains have left and estimated 2000 people dead and over a million more homeless – many of them children. With the threat of water borne diseases rising rapidly, there is an urgent need for prayers and aid from relief organizations. Please pray for people affected by this natural disaster, and do whatever you can to bring them relief.

Broken Bread Meal 4/25 | after worship @ Frizzell Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center

• The Broken Bread Poverty Meal is a creative activism event sponsored by World’s Vision’s Acting on AIDS. Participants are invited to identify, interact with and intercede for those broken by the cycle of AIDS, poverty and hunger. Using a simple porridge meal, true-to-life stories, discussion, prayer and advocacy, students are invited to engage their faith and respond with their hearts and through their citizenship.
• In preparation for the broken bread meal, we encourage you to fast on Saturday 4/24 (at least dinner).

Commissioning Banquet 4/30 | 7PM @ Oakwood Presbyterian Church

• If you are graduating, transferring, or leaving State College, please let us know so that we can send you out as a church.
• Please contact Myro (myro.joy.lee@gmail.com) if you are leaving or would like to encourage the commissionees with a performance or presentation.
• Dinner will be served and the cost will be $15.  The dress code is typically formal/appropriate dressy/no tuxes; however, it is not required.

Sunday, April 18, Broken Bread Meal, after Sunday Worship at Frizzell Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center

• The Broken Bread Poverty Meal is a creative activism event sponsored by World’s Vision’s Acting on AIDS. Participants are invited to identify, interact with and intercede for those broken by the cycle of AIDS, poverty and hunger. Using a simple porridge meal, true-to-life stories, discussion, prayer and advocacy, students are invited to engage their faith and respond with their hearts and through their citizenship.

Harvest March Madness Basketball Tournament, Saturday, April 10, 8:30AM @ IM Building

• Please note the change of date.
• If you would like to play, please sign up by next Wednesday, April 7th by 10:00pm so that we can put you on a team.  Sign up by e-mailing Aaron Choi at aec5124@psu.edu
• The tournament will start at 9AM sharp and end at 1PM.
• Remember to keep in mind that this is a fellowship event and it also provides a great opportunity to reach out to others.
