End of the school year is near!
Saturday 4/17 | Bible Study Class, part 3, 11AM-12:30PM @ Harshberger Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center
- Anyone in the church is invited to join us for a 3 day class on Bible Study. The focus will be on how to lead Bible Studies in a group setting, but we encourage anyone to attend as it will be helpful in personal Bible studies as well.
- The last class will be 11AM to 12:30PM on 4/17.
Missions Sunday 4/25 | 11AM @ Frizzell Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center
- On 4/25, we will have a special missions focused worship service.
- We will have a special guest speaker, Harvest’s former pastor David Alas from Grace Covenant Church in Philadelphia.
Broken Bread Meal 4/25 | after worship @ Frizzell Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center
- The Broken Bread Poverty Meal is a creative activism event sponsored by World’s Vision’s Acting on AIDS. Participants are invited to identify, interact with and intercede for those broken by the cycle of AIDS, poverty and hunger. Using a simple porridge meal, true-to-life stories, discussion, prayer and advocacy, students are invited to engage their faith and respond with their hearts and through their citizenship.
- In preparation for the broken bread meal, we encourage you to fast on Saturday 4/24 (at least dinner).
Commissioning Banquet 4/30 | 7PM @ Oakwood Presbyterian Church
- If you are graduating, transferring, or leaving State College, please let us know so that we can send you out as a church.
- Please contact Myro (myro.joy.lee@gmail.com) if you are leaving or would like to encourage the commissionees with a performance or presentation.
- Dinner will be served and the cost will be $15. The dress code is typically formal/appropriate dressy/no tuxes; however, it is not required.
